Who We Are
The Office of Health Informatics and Analytics (OHIA) serves the data and analytics needs of UCLA Health across the Hospital, Faculty Practice Group and David Geffen School of Medicine. OHIA’s offerings include clinical, financial and quality reporting and analytics, on-demand reporting, self-service reporting, advanced analytics through Big Data solutions and platforms, data extracts, data governance, data integration, data management, data architecture, application integration, and web service integration.

OHIA enables UCLA Health’s patient care, research, and education mission by:
- Advancing the impact of analytics through timely delivery of insightful information, self-service enablement, and integration between OHIA and the distributed business intelligence teams.
- Enhancing clinical and administrative decision support through advanced analytics while in alignment with the UC Responsible AI Principles.
- Enabling the use of health system patient data for translational research by building foundational tools and infrastructure, in concert with DGIT, ISS, OCR, CTSI, JCCC, and IPH.
