The IT Rounding Program provides virtual and on-site support for UCLA Health's hospitals and outpatient offices to meet the technological needs of staff, providers, and patients where they work. Small multidisciplinary teams from ISS spend time talking to staff, observing workflows, and assisting with questions.

Rounding teams typically consist of representatives from the CareConnect analysts, Desktop Services, Customer Care, Medical and Nursing Informatics, and Training Informatics.

  • All outpatient clinical offices across primary care, specialties, pharmacy, and procedural areas

How Often We Visit

  • Every location at least twice per year

Rounding Schedule

  • 1st, 2nd, and 4th Tuesdays and Thursdays of the month.

How Often We Visit

  • Every unit at least once every three months

Rounding Schedule

  • Schedule varies by location. Announcement is made the morning of scheduled visit during the daily operation safety huddles.
