Radar provides CareConnect data in an easy to read, navigate, and personalize form called "dashboards"

When users log in to CareConnect, their dashboards load automatically if it is set as their home workspace, delivering important analytics in a visual display. From their dashboards, users can review summarized data presented in graphs and tables. They can drill down into specific details when needed to make a decision, or take a next step. Users' most important reports can be linked to their dashboard, so that they can be accessed from one screen. Some types of displays one can expect from a Radar dashboard are:

  • Real-time snapshots of business processes like Emergency Department throughput and appointment wait times
  • Trending graphs and tables to visualize and compare key statistics like volumes over time.
  • Links to reports running on all three of the reporting databases: Reporting Workbench, Epic-Crystal, Epic-WebI, External-Crystal, External-WebI and Datalink

Radar dashboards can be configured in many ways to meet the needs of different groups of end users. Primarily, one will find dashboards suited to executive or director-level users, and managers and supervisors. Recently, "Training Home Dashboards" were rolled out to various groups of end users to provide them with easy-to-find information relating to training for their areas. Just as with Reporting Workbench reports, users will find clinical, financial, quality, and many more types of Radar dashboards.
