DGIT has launched a new event series called Tech Hour with DGIT. Tech Hour provides individual departments a dedicated time with DGIT teams to seek help, ask questions about our services, and utilize our consultancy services in solving technology and compute challenges. Our teams will also use this time to go over relevant and important IT updates and initiatives.
At each Tech Hour event, we will be inviting a department to join your Business Relationship Manager, a member of Research Informatics, and a Desktop Support Technician and their manager. So, bring any of your questions and we’ll do our best to provide a solution for you either on the spot or by connecting offline with a plan.
We’ll be hosting two Tech Hour events per department throughout the year. This will allow us the opportunity to meet with each department and follow up with them as well. However, we don’t expect you to wait for these events to chat with us, please continue to use our regular support methods to connect with our teams.
We hope that you’ll also leverage this time to provide feedback on our support/services and what types of things you’d like to see from us in the future. We’re excited to partner with you to match your needs.
