IT Updates - June 2022
Message from the CIO, Ellen Pollack
I am deeply appreciative and excited for the opportunity to continue to lead UCLA Health IT as the Chief Information Officer. In addition, to ensuring the continuity of technology services we provide, I am looking forward to the progression and innovations our teams will bring to services and technology at UCLA Health and the health sciences.
The UCLA Health IT team (ISS | OHIA | DGIT) spent the past few months creating a 3-year strategic plan. Our goal was to provide a framework to guide and align our UCLA Health IT teams and actively track progress as we work towards becoming the best healthcare technology team in the country. In addition to our major initiatives list and capital roadmap, having a strategic plan helps us focus on improving these important themes within UCLA Health IT:
- Recruit, grow, and retain our top talent
- Optimize our processes
- Ensure modern and resilient technology
We invite you to review our Strategic Plan and provide any feedback you may have.
