New Email Fraud Protection
Effective October 27, we have implemented new email fraud protection protocols on our Mednet domains. Most legitimate organizations and corporations use some form of email security protocols that is approved by our new email fraud protection protocols and will not be impacted. If you encounter issues or are concerned that you are not receiving emails that are from legitimate senders, please submit a ticket so that our team can review.
Some known sources that may get blocked are:
Listservs and Google Groups (not from g.ucla.edu)
Many listservs and non-UCLA Google Groups will be blocked. After October 27, if you notice that you are not receiving emails from a listserv that you participate on, we encourage you to submit a ticket. Our team can review why the listserv or message is getting blocked and take proper action to ensure that you can continue to conduct your work effectively.
Auto-forwarding
Emails that are auto forwarded from external or personal inboxes may be impacted. However, auto-forwarding from g.ucla.edu inboxes or other @ucla.edu addressed will not be blocked.
