Dr. Martin is a current Clinical Informatics Fellow and Preventive Medicine physician at UCLA. He went to AT Still School of Medicine in Chicago where he started building clinical decision support tools, which eventually scaled to a small stage company - which ultimately failed. Through that experience, Taylor became interested in how technical solutions and data-centric interventions can improve the health of different populations. Taylor did Preventive Medicine training and a MPH at Johns Hopkins, further expanding his experience in population health informatics, including doing data cleaning and analytics for the Hopkins Covid dashboard, building close loop referral systems between the hospital and community based organizations and working on data sharing agreements between insurance companies and health systems. He is interested in population health, value based care, unique care models, precision health, and remote patient monitoring.
