About
Jennifer Fang was a Clinical Informatics Fellow at UCLA in 2021 to 2023. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UCSD and MD from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, she recently completed an Emergency Medicine residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident, and a Medical Education Fellowship at UCLA. During residency, her work focused on using technology to improve quality of and access to care for vulnerable populations. Two projects that she created and deployed across all Los Angeles County public hospitals are a sexual assault management order set and an in-hospital patient-provider and patient-family telecommunication protocol during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her current informatics interests include clinical decision support tools and improving usability of technology in healthcare for both patients and providers.
