UC’s Targeted in Cyber Attack

The UC community along with other agencies have been targeted in a national cybersecurity attack. Some groups are receiving extortionary emails in attempts to scare people into giving money in exchange for “stolen” data. If you receive a suspicious email, make sure to report the email through the Report Suspicious button within Outlook or forward the email to DangerousEmail@mednet.ucla.edu.

FindTime Outlook add-in

By Monday April 5, you can use FindTime, an Outlook add-in for scheduling meetings. With FindTime, organizers can propose multiple time options based on availability and allow attendees to vote on their preference, minimizing the back-and-forth emails in scheduling. If you do not see FindTime, make sure to restart your Outlook desktop client.
