Rakshit (Rak) Tyagi graduated from Cornell University with a major in Biology, concentrating in Computational Biology and minoring in Information Science with a focus on web programming and design. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University and completed his residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at UCLA. Rak is currently pursuing fellowships at UCLA in both Clinical Informatics and Hematopathology. His professional interests lie in advancing the integration of technology with clinical practice. He aims to explore how clinicians, pathologists, and patients can effectively interact with technology—at individual, hospital, and laboratory levels—by leveraging emerging artificial intelligence solutions to optimize workflows, reduce errors, enhance diagnostics, and ultimately improve healthcare delivery in the dynamic field of health information technology
