Abraham Lin is currently a Clinical Informatics fellow and hospitalist at UCLA. Prior to pursuing a career in medicine, he worked as a software engineer developing internal informatics solutions at Massachusetts General Hospital before joining an early-stage healthcare IT startup (QPID Health) as Director of Software Architecture to develop clinical decision support systems for improving clinical workflows. He subsequently obtained his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed an Internal Medicine residency at Boston Medical Center, staying on afterward as an academic hospitalist with dedicated time for informatics work. He aspires to combine his interests in clinical decision support systems, quality improvement and patient safety, and medical leadership to transform health care delivery and improve patient outcomes.
