We’re thrilled to announce the addition of a new Laptop Kiosk and Charging Station now available in the IT Connect space!

Laptop Kiosk

Pick up a loaner laptop for any of your needs, free of cost, from the Laptop Kiosk. All you’ll need is your phone to scan the QR code, a Mednet account and Duo to confirm your identity, and that’s it! You’ll be allotted 14 days with the laptop and you'll receive a reminder to return the device before your allotted time ends.  

Things to remember:

  • Log in at least once while you’re onsite to load your profile for the first time.
    • Each laptop is set up for remote work, if needed.
  • IMPORTANT: All data will be wiped upon return (and on restarts) so save your data to Box or another storage solution before returning.
  • You’ll need a USB-C charger for the laptop (not provided with the loaner).

Charging Station

Charging in the Center for Health Sciences (CHS) just got easier with our new Charging Station, equipped with a lock pad for your peace of mind. Drop off your devices (phones, tablets, laptops, etc.), plug them in, and use the 4-digit lock to secure your devices. Inside each locker, you’ll find a micro-USB, USB-lightning, and USB-C cord and a 3-prong wall outlet available.
