Clickfix: Protect Yourself from the Latest Cyber Threat

An emerging cyberattack technique that is causing concern is known as “ClickFix.” This social engineering tactic uses dialog boxes with fake error messages designed to trick individuals into copying code into the Windows Run dialog or PowerShell. The code provided by these messages can grant attackers access to your device. To protect your data and devices, never copy prompts or code into Windows Run or PowerShell unless you fully understand what the code does.
