macOS Golden Gate Upgrade Delayed Due to Compatibility Issues

Apple has released its newest macOS, Golden Gate. At this time, some UCLA Health network tools and third-party applications are not yet compatible with the new operating system.

Upgrading before compatibility issues are resolved may prevent access to the UCLA Health network, including VPN. For this reason, IT-managed devices will be blocked from upgrading until required tools are fully supported.

Personal devices used for work should not be upgraded until further notice. We are working with our vendors to complete the necessary updates and will share more information as it becomes available.
