Responsible Use

Responsible Al use begins with human judgement and our safeguarding of the sensitive information we work with.

Know how to classify your data

Data is one of our most valuable assets, both personal and professional. As a health organization with access to sensitive information such as patient records, research data, and other confidential materials, it is imperative that we protect it.

To ensure data remains safe, it's important to understand how we classify, manage, and protect the information we handle every day. Know how to classify your data by identifying whether your data is public, internal, sensitive, or restricted and be mindful of where you store or share that data.

AI Literacy Training

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the way we work, making AI literacy an essential skill for today’s workforce. To ensure our community is using AI in a responsible and secure manner, we've created an AI Literacy course to help you build a foundational understanding, including what it is, how it works, its benefits and limitations, and the importance of using AI responsibly and securely. A general curriculum is available for all employees, with an additional clinician-focused section that explores healthcare-specific use cases, considerations, and responsibilities.
