Billy has been part of the UCLA and UCLA Health community since 2007. His journey at UCLA began in the Campus Facilities Management IT group, where he honed his skills and gained valuable insights into the institution's technological landscape. In 2012, recognizing an expansion within health IT, he embarked on a new chapter by transitioning to UCLA Health. His transition coincided with the pivotal CareConnect Project, a groundbreaking initiative that introduced Epic to the UCLA Health system, thereby significantly improving patient care.
In his current role as Training Operations Manager, Billy’s focus is to provide the best level of training and comprehension for all UCLA Health's staff. He oversees all credentialed trainers and manages the operations of in-person and virtual instructor-led training (ILT and vILT). His thorough approach ensures that the training programs are delivered efficiently and effectively, contributing to the continued success of UCLA Health.
Billy is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and is also an IASSC Certified Lean Expert (CLE), he holds a bachelor's degree in Business Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
