Hawkin Woo, MD, MPH, is a clinical professor of medicine at UCLA Health. He practices primary care internal medicine at UCLA Westwood. He teaches medical students in the art and science of physical diagnosis and trains residents in the practice of outpatient medicine. Dr. Woo is an Epic-certified physician builder. He is lead physician informaticist for the ambulatory physician informaticist team. His areas of interest include clinical decision support, clinical content, and provider training/efficiency. His recent projects include implementation of PAMA, HCC coding, and referrals optimization. Dr. Woo is also a core faculty member for the UCLA clinical informatics fellowship program and the UCLA resident informatics program. He greatly enjoys working with trainees in bringing their project to life in the production environment.
