Microsoft Teams is rolling out a new Chat and Channels experience designed to streamline collaboration and help you stay organized. Whether you're managing chats, channels, or meeting threads, this update brings everything into one flexible space to help you work smarter. You will start to notice the following new customizable viewing options appearing in Teams:

Combined View: Keep chat, teams, and channels combined in a single view
Channel List View: View channels in a single list sorted by recency, without the need to expand and collapse teams.
Custom Sections: Organize conversations by project, topic, or team using custom sections. Drag and drop chats/channels into up to 50 sections. Learn more about creating custom sections →
Filters & Mentions: Use filters (Unread, Chats, Channels, and Meetings) to focus your view and the @mention option to see all your mentions across chats and channels.
