Leverage Supercomputing Resources for Research and Education with ACCESS & NAIRR
Research Tech Talks
Virtual
Hosted by: UCLA Health IT
Come get an orientation to the NSF-funded ACCESS program that makes cyberinfrastructure (CI) resources available to U.S.-based researchers and educators for free. The presentation walks through ACCESS's tiered allocation request process and utilization metrics (spoiler alerts: over 90% are approved at their first request and typically under 1 business day), and covers the human expertise underlying CI. The presentation will also touch on eligibility, proposal requirements, and the mix of resources (CPU, GPU, storage, etc.) available.
