Kenny Leung is a current Clinical Informatics fellow and primary care Internal Medicine physician at UCLA.  He is a graduate of University of California Irvine Internal Medicine residency and received his Doctorate of Medicine from Carle Illinois College of Medicine at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Master’s in Medical Engineering from University of Washington, and Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.  Kenny has worked as a software engineer at a healthcare joint-venture developing population health management and quality metrics analytical software, at a pharmacogenomics start-up implementing interfaces to connect labs, hospitals, e-prescribing services and lab interpretation services together, at a quality-driven hospital innovating on automatic creation of procedure notes, and as a healthcare research data architect designing systems that enable individuals to conduct clinical research more easily.  He has strong interests in implementing and developing solutions that enhance patient care delivery and improve workflow efficiency. Kenny strives to be a physician-innovator who delivers compassionate medical care to his patients, advocates for the adoption of impactful healthcare technologies, and advances healthcare innovations.
