Making Full Use of Secondary Data with IPUMS

Population-level data from censuses and long-standing surveys have enormous potential for health research. They provide large sample sizes, measures of social determinants of health over a relatively long timespan, and the demographic identifiers necessary for examining trends and disparities among population subgroups.
