Mauricio Silva, M.D. is a Clinical Professor and the Vice Chair of Clinical Operations of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and the Medical Director of Orthopaedic Institute for Children in Los Angeles. Dr. Silva is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in pediatric orthopaedics. His clinical interest includes pediatric orthopaedic trauma and outcomes, management of clubfoot deformities and musculoskeletal complications associated with hemophilia. As a Physician Informaticist, Dr. Silva’s areas of interest include quality and patient safety initiatives, patient reported outcomes, and optimizing workflows to improve physician efficiency.
