Radiology
Lucy Chow, MD, is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Radiology at UCLA. She is a radiologist, specializing in breast and women’s imaging. Dr. Chow serves as the liaison between the Department of Radiology, the Physician Informaticist group, and UCLA Health Information Technology.
Dr. Chow’s research interests include optimizing the electronic health record (EHR) to improve patient care. She is developing the EHR to be more inclusive to LGBTQ patients in breast imaging which allows for a more accurate assessment of a patient’s breast cancer risk and improves the interpretation of imaging studies. The work was accepted for presentation at the National LGBTQ Health Conference and the Radiological Society of North America Annual Meeting.
